In hot summer, the chiller is the peak period of use, but also prone to failure period. Therefore, during this period, we should pay special attention to the use of the chiller, pay attention to daily maintenance, in order to reduce the probability of failure.

Maintenance: Daily maintenance can make the equipment work better, also can let the equipment used longer, create greater value for us.

Today I want to talk about the daily maintenance of laser welding machines.

Environmental requirements and cleanliness

The machine must be installed in a ventilated and dry environment. The ambient temperature does not exceed 35 ℃.The ventilation around the equipment is good, and the space between the machine and the wall is more than 50 cm. Especially the outlet behind the water tank should ensure good ventilation.

Because the main parts of the machine are optical components, the external environment should be kept hygienic regularly.

Optical Dust Cover.

If there are too many stains on the protective lens, please replace the new protective lens. Clean the surface once a day when the machine is turned on and off.

Maintenance of Chiller

Make sure that the water level in the water tank reaches the designated position before starting.

Change the water of the chiller regularly for 30 days to ensure the cleanliness of the focusing chamber, otherwise, it will affect the laser energy, and please use pure water.

Clean the filter screen dust in front of the chiller regularly (about 7 days). The cleaning method is to remove the filter screen and spray it directly with compressed air or wash it with tap water.

When the filter turns yellow or black, it should be replaced in time. The longest replacement time is no more than 2 months.

Warm Tip: If the equipment is not used for a long time, the cooling water should be exhausted.

Regular replacement of xenon lamps

Xenon lamp is one of the consumables used in this product. Because of the long-term use of equipment, the energy of the Xenon lamp will be reduced.

If the parameters are set at 160A-180A, or the product can not be welded, please replace the new xenon lamp.

The service life of normal xenon lamps is more than 3 million times or about 4-6 months.

Replacement of protective lenses

Protective lenses are also one of the consumables of the machine. Protective lenses are installed to protect the focus lens from damage.

After a long period of work, there will be dirt and welding slag on the surface of the protective lens. It is suggested to wipe the surface with mirror paper before and after each start-up, so as to ensure that the laser output does not reduce the laser transmittance.

Simple troubleshooting

Close the cabinet and open it empty, and open the key switch without reaction.

A: Measure whether the main power line has voltage input or not.

B: Check if the emergency stop switch is pressed (just turn right and bounce).

When the power supply is normally started, the Undervoltage is displayed on the right side of the screen.

A: Check whether the waterway is normal (whether the water tank alarms, whether there is running water).

B: Power off to check whether the electrode chucks at both ends of the xenon lamp is loose.

C: Check whether the the xenon lamp is aging or damaged (replace one); if the problem is not solved, please contact the manufacturer for technical advice.

Laser energy suddenly weakens in the process of machine operation

See if the protective lens under the laser focusing lens is damaged.

Check whether the water temperature in the water tank is too high.

Open the light path dust cover, check whether the laser chamber is dew (wipe the droplets with paper towels) and check whether there are droplets on both ends of the laser rod (wipe them in a circle with a clean cotton swab).

When the water tank is working, observe whether there is water seepage at both ends of the laser rod (or shutdown if any) and the sealing ring may be damaged. At this time, please contact the agent or manufacturer for telephone guidance or door-to-door maintenance services.
